## DCG

How to play the Dominated Card Game:

Things you need: 2 deck of cards, and a working brain.

How it goes:

Preliminaries:

1. Remove the honors (KQJ) from both decks. Distribute them according to the number of players and type. (Eg: For 2 players, 1 player takes all the red honors and the other takes all the black. For 3 players, each players takes all K, all Q and all J, etc.)

2. Randomly draw numbers to determine who starts first.

3. Each player is given 5 cards and the life types of 1 deck faced up and the other deck faced down.

Gameplay:

1. At the start of your turn, draw 2 cards. There are 4 types of cards:

a. Red number cards – these are the Defense cards.

b. Black number cards – these are the Offense cards.

2. At each turn, you can play up to three cards. There are a few things you can do – play Offense cards to attack your opponent(s) or extra lives to add to your life pool. You do this by turning a faced down life card to face up. At the end of the turn, if you have more than 7 cards in your hand, you have to discard them until you have 7.

3. If a player is attacked, he may use Defense cards (as many as he likes) to block. The sum of the numbers must be at least the sum of the Offense cards used to attack. For example, if a player attacks with 10,8,9 together, then the defender needs to have defense cards summing up to at least 27.

4. If a player cannot defend or chooses not to defend, he loses 1 life. His loses when he has lost all his active lives.

Misc:

1. If there are only 2 players remaining, during a turn each player must play at least 2 cards or discard them.

2. If at any point in the game a player has used up all the cards in his hand, he may immediately draw 5 cards.
